Ada's passion for sports, movement, and the discipline and lifestyle that accompany them began at a young age, along with her fascination with the human body, the perfect machine.

She also enjoys biking, dancing, swimming, skiing, and playing tennis. This daily regimen keeps her active, centered, and energized—and allows her to keep up with her very active eight-year-old son, Alessandro.

Meet Ada

An Expert In Movement

Ada graduated summa cum laude from the prestigious University of Rome “Foro Italico,” Italy’s only state university dedicated to sports and movement sciences. She earned her degree in kinesiology, sports techniques, and exercise science with a focus on corrective exercise, postural techniques, and rehabilitation through movement.

In 2006, she earned her certification from Romana's Pilates after completing over 700 hours of training, workshops, and assessments. She further refined her practice through intensive study in New York with master trainers Sari Mejia Santo, Romana Kryzanowska's daughter, Jerome Weinberger, and Cynthia Shipley; she was also fortunate to train with Romana Kryzanowska, the direct protege' of Joseph Pilates and guardian of his original method.

She moved to New York in 2013. She continues to expand her expertise by attending specialized workshops on a wide variety of topics—most recently, postpartum care, scoliosis, shoulder care, and lower back care. In 2017, she became a certified ELDOA trainer after studying with its founder, Guy Voyer, DO. She integrates ELDOA with segmental strengthening in her work. Ada's workouts incorporate Pilates, segmental strength training, and myrofascial stretching.

What is ELDOA?

ELDOA, or longitudinal Osteo-articular decoaptation stretching, developed by Guy VOYER DO, is a precise postural method that uses active elongation to create space and decompression between the joints. Although often associated with the spine, ELDOA addresses the entire body-including the shoulders, hilps, ribs, pelvis and spine- to improve alignment, mobility, balance and overall freedom of movement.

What is Myofascial Stretching?

Myofascial stretching works with the relationship between muscles, fascia, and the body's interconnected fascial chains. Rather than just simply lengthening a muscle, it uses precise positions and lines of tension to improve the way tissues move and glide together, supporting greater freedom, mobility and ease of movement.

What is segmental strength training?

Segmental strength training, developed by Guy VOYER DO, is a comprehensive approach to movement based on anatomy, biomechanics, and the interconnectedness of the body. It combines precise strengthening,

proprioception, postural work, and myofascial techniques to develop greater strength, balance, coordination, and efficiency in movements.

"I experienced an L4-L5 disc bulge back in 2021.  As the medical system was overwhelmed by COVID-19, from the time I went in for my MRI five weeks transpired before a doctor was able to examine the results.  After one look at the MRI, the doctor remarked that he was shocked that I was not in pain, given the severity of the bulge.

The trick was I had been working with Ada during those five weeks. Ada, not only helped me miraculously recover from my disc problem, but also gave me a whole new perspective on the importance of spinal health."
